Blackjack is one of the most popular and simplest casino games in the world. It is a card comparing game in which the player competes only against the dealer and not any other players at the table.
Depending on the specific variation, blackjack uses between two and eight standard 52-card decks. There is also the single-deck variation.
To win at blackjack, you need to have a hand of 21 or as close to it as possible without going over, and your hand must be better than what the dealer is holding.
The gameplay is easy to follow, as players only have a handful of decisions at their disposal. They can hit, stand, split, double down, or surrender.
Card rankings are uniform across most blackjack variations. More specifically, the three face cards, King, Queen, and Jack are worth ten points, while the Ace can be counted either as 1 or 11 points. All other cards between 2 and 10 are worth their face value.
