Face-up cards are those cards that are showing their value to everyone at the table. Face-up cards are a gameplay element in many casino games and are the opposite of face-down cards.
For example, in poker variations like Texas Hold’em, only the players’ hole cards are private, while the five cards on the community board are always dealt face up.
