Misdeal Description – An Honest Dealer Mistake Not to Get Upset About
A misdeal happens when the dealer accidentally deals a hand incorrectly. When this occurs, they should collect the cards, shuffle them thoroughly, and deal them again.
For example, let’s say you’re playing a classic Texas Hold’em poker variation in a casino of your choice.
When the dealer starts distributing the cards around the table, they realize they’ve accidentally dealt the players three cards instead of two. This is a clear-cut example of a misdeal.
