Turn Card Description – The Fourth Street in Poker Games
The turn card is a common poker term that refers to the fourth card on the community board in community card poker variations. Hence, it is also known as the fourth street.
After the turn card comes up, all players still left in the hand have six cards to choose from to make their strongest five-card hand. The turn card is followed by another betting round and one last card, known as the river or the fifth street.
