Discard Tray Meaning – A Tray Used to Hold All Cards Out of Play
A discard tray is a dedicated tray for all discarded or played cards. Poker dealers use discard trays to keep the game in order and minimize the chance of anyone cheating. Moreover, discard trays prevent accidental card mixing and unintentional errors.
For instance, when a poker player folds their cards, they will be placed in the discard tray to eliminate the possibility of the folded cards affecting the ongoing game in any way.
