Flush Meaning – A Poker Hand Consisting of Five Cards of the Same Suits

A flush is a hand containing any five cards that are in the same suit. This could be hearts, spades, clubs, or diamonds. In poker hand rankings, a flush is the fifth strongest hand combination and ranks below a full house and above a straight.

In casino games that have this combination as one of the possible winning options, in situations when multiple players have a flush, the player with the highest-ranking card in the flush wins it all.

For example, let’s say that both players have a flush, all in hearts. The first player has a 5, 7, 9, J, Q hand, while the second player has a 3, 7, 9, J, K hand. As the second player has the highest card, they win this round.
