Jam Meaning – A Big Poker Pot Created by Multiple Bets and Raises
Used in both online and land-based casinos, “jam” refers to a large pot in which the players have made a significant number of bets, raises, and re-raises. It’s also known as a monster pot.
For this reason, the term jam can also be used as a verb with the same meaning. So, when a poker player is playing particularly aggressively and is constantly raising or re-raising, you can say that they are jamming it.
