Monster Meaning – A Very Strong Poker Hand That Is Unlikely to Lose
The term monster is often used in poker to describe a very strong hand. This is not any specific hand but primarily depends on the context of the game and the situation.
For example, if you get a pair of deuces and then the flop lands a 2, 2, A, you have a monster hand. This hand is almost guaranteed to win.
The only way you can lose is if someone has pocket Aces and gets another Ace or has a different pair, and they hit runner-runner with the next two cards.
