Runner-Runner Meaning – Hitting Your Outs on the Turn and the River
A runner-runner is a poker hand that has been made by getting the needed cards on both the turn and the river. It’s also known as a backdoor.
For example, let’s say that you have a 3, 4 hand, and the board after the flop reads 5, Q, K. If you get a 2 and a 6 on the turn and the river, you would make a runner-runner straight.
