Snake Eyes Meaning – A Popular Nickname for a Particular Craps Roll
The term “snake eyes” is used in dice gambling games, most notably craps, to refer to a roll of two ones.
This nickname stems from the fact that the two single pips on top of two dice look like a pair of eyes.
If the shooter rolls the snake eyes dice combination on their come-out roll, they crap out, meaning that all pass line bets lose and don’t pass bets win.
