Stand Meaning – One of the Main Options Available to Blackjack Players
Standing is one of the main gameplay options that blackjack players have when playing this casino game.
When a blackjack player wants to stand, they are satisfied with the value of their hand and they don’t want to take any extra cards, or “hit”.
Additionally, when a player decides to stand, they end their turn for the round. The best way to tell when you should stand and when to hit is to use a blackjack chart.
For example, if you have a hard total of 16 and the dealer’s upcard is a six or lower, a standard blackjack strategy chart will advise you to stand and refuse to take an additional card.
