Suits Meaning – Special Marks Used to Distinguish Playing Cards
A suit is a specific trait that marks the card apart from its number or face value. A standard casino card deck made up of 52 cards has four suits.
These are hearts, diamonds, spades, and clubs. In other words, each suit has thirteen cards ranging from 2 to Ace.
For example, if you’re playing poker and have a suited hand, it means that all of the cards that make up your hand are of the same suit.
