Razz Meaning – A Popular Lowball Poker Variation
Razz is a common lowball variation of stud poker and one of the oldest poker variations. The main objective of Razz is to make the lowest five-card hand out of the seven cards you receive. The ace always plays the low card.
For example, the strongest card is a five-high, or a hand containing 5, 4, 3, 2, A. Straights and flushes are not playable hands in Razz.
